I used to write a lot more than I do now. Just a basic journaling of my daily activities, nothing special, though I will admit I have a couple of book attempts started.
I decided now was a perfect time to get back into the practice. I think it really helps me mentally see my day written out. I find it cathartic to just write whatever I feel like writing.
I don’t know how often I will write this way, since I really do enjoy writing reviews, but hey change is good sometimes. My musings will still probably consist of books somehow though. My thoughts are rarely far from books.
My TBR list. That’s what I am thinking about now. I am currently reading my digital ARC copy of Enchantee by Grita Trelease from netgalley. I am enjoying it so much and I am so excited to read more of my ARCs, but it made me realize how long my TBR list is! I was chatting with a friend the other day and telling her I was enjoying using an audio book and I am working my way through Dragonfly in Amber by Diana Gabaldon and I really like how my time folding laundry and other household chores is now not taking up my book time. That made me wish I could read more books at once. I told her I wished I could train my left eye to read one book and my right eye to read another and maybe even add in an audio book in the background for good measure. If only.
I am really excited about my books on my to read list and I can’t wait to dive in. I found the Three Dark Crowns series at costco on sale the other day and found a hidden gem. Book 3, Two Dark Reigns was a signed copy! (I showed them off on a video here)
I love finding a little hidden gem in a bookstore and I was not expecting to find a signed copy at Costco! It made my day! Grace and Fury by Tracy BangHartt is also a book I am super excited to read about. I got that from my august OwlCrate box.
