I have to say this one was one my favorites of the series. Imogen, Maple, Iggy, and the rest of the royal bakers travel to the mermaid kingdom to bake for a wedding. Once there a murder happens and once again Imogen and Maple find themselves in the middle trying to find out what happened.

I loved how they had a spell that made them swallow a bubble and it turned them in a mermaid. How awesome is that? Iggy was given a protective bubble that kept him safe as well.

Iggy once again provides much needed laughs through out the whole story. Iggy is so awesome. He’s one of my favorites. Sam is also so fun to read about. He’s just never sure what to do with his arms and it provides some comedic relief.

Then there is Imogen and Hank. I loved watching them finally get to interact with each out outside of the watchful eye’s of Hank’s kingdom. I’m so excited to see where they go. I have some mixed opinions about Hank’s arranged marriage and I’m not sure how I like how it’s handled, but I have high hopes that love will win out in the end.
